This volume establishes a diachronic line between the pictoric origins until the XIX century. In this book we discover the rare mural traces in antiquity, the religious miniatures, the Maestro de Ban-ga´s Renaissance paintings, the Velazquian baroque of Puga, Gre-gorio Ferro´s Neoclasicism and Jenaro Pérez Villaamil´s Romanticism. This last painter was a very important character in the Spanish painting of the XIX century, un- til we get to Dionisio Fierros´s Postromanticism.
