In
this book we become aware of an artistic Galicia which reflects
the Spanish duality after the end of the Civil War, between
a contained internal situation and the cultural exile. Many
of these artists lived this dual situation between their own
countries and different American ones. On the one hand, we
witness the renewal of the so-called expresionists of the
estética do granito (granite aesthetics)
(Seoane, Díaz Pardo...), on the other hand we witness
the development of surrealist poetics with Eugenio Fernández
Granell and Urbano Lugrís.
