During
the 1960s and 1970s realisms obtain a particularly rich excellence.
Realism of intimacies; we find it in Gabino´s works,
or more expresionist and neofigurative in Argüelles,
Felipe Criado and En-rique Ortiz. We also find a magical interpretation
of objects and spaces in Elena Gago (the works of Rogelio
Puente or Caulonga were considered as hyperrealism),
and a realism strengthened by onirism in A. Costa, as well
as in the landscapes of Antón Quesada and Antón
Abreu. These are different ways of approaching the social
reality of the existential space and nature.
