Although
they belong to different generations, the ten artists gathered
in this volume have in common a representational idea of painting
that involves the consideration of reality. They insist on
the strongest terms of its expression, for which they have
never hesitated to take drawing or colour to their limits,
that is to say, the architecture of their pictorial projects.
